The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) will declare JEE Main Result 2017 along with score of paper-I on 27th April 2017. The Result of JEE Main 2017 for paper-II along with All India Rank will be announced on 27th May 2017. The JEE is very important entrance test that evaluate the rank of students according to their performance in the test and the 12th standard. The JEE Main 2017 allows candidates to take admission in the Polytechnic courses under the top universities of the India and even in the IIT institutes. The admission for the academic year 2017-18 is all ready to start.

  3. The Click on submit button after providing the required credentials.
  4. After successful login, the JEE Main Result 2017 for Paper-1 will be reflected on the screen.
  5. Candidates will also be able to know whether they have qualified to appear for JEE Advanced 2017.

According to the latest updates in the rank calculation system, 12th standard marks will not be normalized and used to determine the JEE AIR 2017. Instead of percentile the percentage of the 12th standard will be used evaluate the JEE rank of aspirants. A Candidate has scored 50% marks in the Board and 2218 candidates have scored below him. The Percentile score will be calculated as follows.

  • Percentile score for 50% marks in the Board = 2218 x 100 / 13918= 16.18

JEE Main Cut off 2017

The Cut off marks of JEE Main 2017 will be released after the announcement of the Joint Entrance Examination Result. Meanwhile, the applicants can check the cut off trends of previous years to know the possible cutoff for the session of 2017-18.

  • The general category cut off marks in the 2016 was 100% and in the 2017 it’s expected to around 105%.
  • The OBC category cut off marks in the 2016 was 70% and in the 2017 it’s expected to be same as last year 70%.
  • The schedule tribal category cut off marks in the 2016 was 48% and in the 2017 it will be 44%.
  • The Schedule Class category cut off marks in the 2016 was 52% and in the 2017 it’s expected to be around 50%.

  • The JEE Main 2017 Result of Paper 1 will be released on 27.04.2017. The Result for Advance (Paper 2) will be declared on 27.05.2017.
