JEE Advanced results to be announced on 13 June 2017

Indian Institutes of Technology – Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) is an entrance exam conducted every year by the central board of education for the admission into various engineering colleges in India. In the year 2013 IITJEE was renamed as Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced (JEE- Advanced). The total number of candidate appeared for this exam increased every year.  Many numbers of students appear for JEE- Advanced exam in order to get placed in any one of the IIT institutes in India. Totally there are 23 IIT institutes in our country and JEE Advanced 2017 exam was conducted by IIT Institute of Madras on May 21st, 2017 and the result will be declared on 11th June 2017.

JEE Advanced 2017 Results.

IIT Institute of Madras has announced the date of releasing the exam results. As mentioned earlier the results will be declared on 11th June 2017 and all students can check for their results on the official website of JEE- Advanced. In the year 2016 around 2 lakh, students were qualified in JEE Main and were eligible for JEE Advanced 2017.We have to wait for the JEE Advanced 2017 results to know the total number of the students qualified in the exam.

JEE- Advanced is the toughest competitive exam. Students start preparing for this exam from their class 12. To get admission into top 23 IIT institutes, the student should score among the top two lakh twenty thousand. Class 12   aspirants who are preparing for IIT JEE 2017 exams are advised to refer more NCERT solutions and to solve more sample papers.

How to check JEE Advanced 2017 Results?

The results for JEE Advanced is yet to be declared on 11th of June 2017 and the candidates can check for the answer key, which is available on the website. The exam results will be available on JEE Advanced website and candidates can know their results by entering their admit card number, date of birth and other necessary information. Both rank and the score of the candidate will display on the screen. Now the next step after results is to get prepared for the counselling session, which commences from the next day of the results. i.e. 15th or 16th of June 2017. The qualified students in this exams are selected by the JoSAA – Joint Seat Allocation Authority counselling committee. There will be around 10,572 engineering seat allotted through JEE Advanced.

How to prepare for JEE counsellingsession?

Every year after the declaration of the result, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority counselling committee conducts the counselling for all students who have cleared their entrance exam. The JoSAA is a joint collaboration of JAB – Joint Admission Board and CSAB-Central Seat Allocation Board. As theJEE Advanced Counselling is conducted just after a day of the results, students should be well prepared to attend different stages of counselling. The stages of counselling include:

  1. The registration process to be completed through online by visiting JEE Advanced website. Students need to enter all the necessary details asked – candidates name, parents name, residence address, date of birth, roll number, etc.
  2. Students need to select the name of the college and course, which he /she is interested. Try to make a maximum number of choice allotted. Read and carefully select the options as the option once locked cannot be changed or altered.
  3. The next stage after selecting the college is allotment of the seat. In this stage, there will be several rounds of counselling and seat allotment. The allotment of seats in selected college is based on the availability of free seats, payment seats and reservation quota. Once after seat allotment, students has to pay the required fees to confirm the admission.
  4. The last and the final stage of counselling is to submit and verify all the relevant documents required by the institution for the admission. In case the candidate fails to report to the allotted institute, this results in cancellation of the seat.

There are many another course for the students who have scored less rank and not got selected in counselling. Students can either choose any other college or wait and reattempt next year. Exams are not the failure, you can re-attempt and score more marks better than the previous results. Refer more model paper, sample papers and practice more questions from NCERT books for JEE Advanced as this books provides a complete and required information along with standard questions. There are more possibilities that a number of questions appeared in the exams are from this NCERT books.
