CBSE UGC NET Result 2017 for 22nd Jan Exam

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted the National Eligibility Test (NET) on behalf of UGC (Universities Grant Commission) on 22/01/2017. The test was conducted in 83 subjects at 88 selected NET examination cities spread across the country. Every year, this examination is being conducted for granting the admission to huge number of candidates in the Junior Research Fellowship & Asst. Professor post in various colleges. The applicant those who qualify in this exam will be eligible for Lecturer only or Junior Research Fellowship and get the eligibility for Assistant Professor, in Indian universities and colleges. The admission will be based on purely CBSE UGC NET Result 2017 those who will qualify the exam will be called for the counselings.

CBSE UGC NET Cut Off Marks 2017

The NET Test comprises of three papers. All the three papers consist of only objective type questions. Paper I consists of 60 multiple choice questions each questions carrying 2 marks. It covers the following topics: reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness. Out of 60 questions the candidate should answer 50 questions. Paper II comprises of 50 objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question carries 2 marks. Paper III consists of 75 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate. Each question carries 2 marks.

UGC NET Result 2017

Out of those aspirants who have cleared the above-mentioned qualifying marks, a merit list will be prepared subject and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such aspirants. The top 15% aspirants for each subject and category, under the merit list, will be declared NET qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only. A separate merit list for the award of JRF will be prepared from out of the NET qualified candidates.
